Guardians of Allura, A Short Story
I have decided I will be doing a series of short stories based on a book series I am writing Guardians of Allura. H ere is the first one. The two figures walked through the trees; their way was lit by a glowing topaz that hung around the neck of the older one. "Alicia, where are we going?" the young girl asked as she stumbled over a tree root. Alicia stopped to help her up. She brushed the curly brown hair out of Willow's face and replied, "Somewhere where you'll be safe from your Aunt." Willow's hand went to the necklace around her neck. The small piece of Obsidian that hung from it was the whole reason she had to hide from her Aunt. Alicia took Willow's other hand and continued down the path. Finally, they reached a clearing. In the middle of the clearing a black unicorn stood staring up at the moon. The unicorn turned to them when they reached her. "Are you sure this is what needs to happen?" Alicia asked her
