Kate's Kingdom

So here is a short story I wrote, it is also the prologue for a story I am hoping to write soon. This is the first time in a while I've let anyone read something I wrote so please give me your opinion.    “Sire, you need to leave now” Steven insisted.    The King turned to face him. “I cannot run like a coward. I must stay here and face her.”    Steven ran his hand through his brown hair and sighed, “Is there any way I can convince you otherwise?”    “No.” The king said firmly. “But I have a favour to ask you. Take Amos, Hugo, and Aria. And hide them at my sister’s place in the wood. Promise me you will protect them.”    The pleading in his eyes was hard to refuse. Steven lowered his voice and whispered, “She will not spare you.”    “I know.” The king said quietly. He walked over to the children. The twins were whispering to each other. It's 2019!!!!! And my first post will be a update, as it has been a long time since my last post. New Babies Our current babies Silva and her puppy Azura with Skyla and Violet Clubs, Azura's little boy We also have a calf, but I don't have a picture.  Stuff I Have Been Doing I made a gingerbread house for Christmas. It was a disaster, nearly collapsed and ended up being held together by six toothpicks. But it tasted really nice anyway.  I tried taking some photos and I quiet like them I actually maked that wreath, after many failed attempts                                                                           I have also been doing crafts My Cards My Puzzle Hope to have another post soon, May God bless your new year!
